Can we remind all clubs that it is very important that we have details of any new runners (i.e. Full name, gender, date of birth) on the score-sheets at the end of the race.
If a runners has transferred from another club we need to know when that transfer was approved by the relevant athletics board.
If they have previously run second claim run for a different BL club we need to be told. This caused a problem after Race 3; the runner showed up as having transferred, but extensive searching of the Athletics Board website did not show a transfer being approved. We decided the runner was not eligible and were about to delete them from the results, fortunately after much unnecessary email traffic and delay we were finally made aware of the situation that it was a second-claim transfer and was therefore legitimate.
And a reminder that mid-season transfers are not permitted. A runner cannot represent more than one club in a season.
